Hi! I’m Lauren.
I’m a freelance writer, producer and social media manager based between Los Angeles and Italy. I’ve worked in and alongside the entertainment industry for many years. The freelance aspect of my work and industry has allowed me the ability to travel extensively and for long lengths of time. I work remotely so it’s easier for me to travel and stay on the road longer.
I’m also a published author and have 10+ years of experience writing professionally. I’m a huge Disney fan and adore all things Marvel and Star Wars. Because I’m a huge geek I love finding and exploring historic sites and film locations around the world. Living in Los Angeles is a dream come true and I love exploring the never-ending activities in this lively city when I’m not traveling.
I started this website as a travel and lifestyle blog many years ago as a way to share tips and advice with friends and family about travel and my life in Los Angeles and it’s really grown a lot. I’m passionate about showing people that travel has become more and more accessible and that the world isn’t as scary as we think. My niche is in the solo female travel realm with a bit of adventure travel thrown in.
I love exploring off the beaten path destinations! Some of my many adventures include couch-surfing in various countries, flying a plane over Niagara Falls and road tripping spontaneously around Iceland and Wales with strangers. So far, I’ve visited 29 different countries, 4 continents and 49 out of 50 US states!
